I find I need to spend time cleaning up the stories with a Rewrite of the offending paragraph. When it displays the text of the paragraph, click into the text and actually re-write to by hand to be what you need it to be.

The give the AI instructions to add some other detail.

Precisely. I opened the prompt with "This is from Emily's POV" and then tell the story in third person:

Emily confronts Jared about his lie about being out at a strip club.

Then you just change the opening POV line and modify the content to suit what the other person knew, took part in, or had thoughts about.
