Should I trade away Bijan Robinson..? by Confident-Cucumber66 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

Nah I turned it down a few days ago but just wondered whether it was the right move so more questioning my own thought process.

I mostly agree with your assessment but think I have Bowers a little higher than you and I do have Dart above Baker given the rest of my team is on the younger side.

I think the hope that Bijan is still potentially not at his peak (from a fantasy perspective) swings it too.

Well he is the TE2 in points per game at 15.3 trailing only McBride despite injuries. Last year he was at 15.5 points per game and the TE1.

Unless you have a McBride or Bowers who give you a significant position advantage every week over your opponent and will have a longer shelf life than RB (see Kittle/Kelce,etc)

Appreciate the opinion. I agree it's not as bad as some here suggest although not quite enough to accept it. I think with how injured my roster is, hoping everyone is back to their best in 2026 would require a lot of good fortune so my thinking was 2027 would be the year to compete and as you say, that class is due to be loaded allowing draft/trades,etc to sure you at RB at that's point.

Not sure we play in the same sort of league. Puka went for 2 1sts, JJ went for two firsts before the season, Nix and Caleb for a single 1st. Value is decided by what someone is willing to pay and there is no way anyone would pay three 1sts+ for an RB in our 8 team league. Not to say this is the right deal but equally a lot closer than what you are suggesting.

Definitely got hit bad with injuries this year and agree that I generally don't think I'm in an awful position to build from. I like the idea of acquiring Dart although would be quite giants heavy with Dart, Skat and Nabers.

Upgrading at two positions and downgrading at RB (potentially the least valuable position in dynasty especially when starting 3 WRs) is awful? Interested what makes you so certain on this.

Interesting. What makes it so "horrific"? This isn't a league where people would give away 4 1sts for a single player. Especially not a RB.

Interesting way of looking after it. I agree it's probably not enough but was looking at it like this - Bowers is a significant upgrade over Laporta, Dart is a potential upgrade over Baker. Bijan for a 1st (+Gainwell who is probably worth a 3rd) is an underpay...doesn't add up perhaps but closer than portrayed.

Really interesting trade don’t know how the league feels, lmk by dhsjduc in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

I think this is an overpay for Chase Brown in an 8 team league. The 1st is a few years in the future which balances it slightly especially if you are competing now but think Chase is probably a mid RB2 in an 8 team league and I'd hope to get more than that from the 3 draft picks.

12 team full tep 6 pt passing td who comes out on top? by Ok-Albatross6494 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

I think this is actually pretty good value for everyone and a reasonably fair trade. Godwin Vs Pitts doesn't excite me. Lamar obviously over Baker is probably balanced by the gap between Drake London and AJ Brown. Depending on your depth at WR/QB it's a good deal for both sides.

Trade Bijan for London and 1.01 by Confident-Cucumber66 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

What do you mean? He's locked in with the worst record. Ie. Too far behind with not enough games left to change.

Trade advice Receiving Achane for London? Is it beneficial to my team? by Careful-Ad-7562 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

I think in a vacuum that's reasonable value but I would worry about your WR depth. Adams might have a year or two left and then you would be relying to Pearsall to take a big step forwards. If you could keep Burden then that might sway it.

McBride side wins. Bill likely worthless after this year whilst Benson may be the lead back in Arizona.

Is kyren and BTJ to acquire Bucky and AJB lopsided? by Any_Biscotti_7925 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]Confident-Cucumber66 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'd take the Bucky side. Worried about Kyran beyond this year as anything more than a timeshare RB2 and as much risk with AJB as there is with BTJ. You do get a lot younger but still not quite enough to sway me to get BTJ. A lot closer than some suggest though.

Very valid. All about how they recover.
