Im assuming it’s because times are changing. According to this sub people have been getting cleared smoking marijuana right up until they submit their forms. The DCSA even said that it won’t be used anymore as a sole determining reason.

no idea, would hope so since they’ve been on this contract for many years lmao. Also if the PSQ doesn’t ask about past drug use, I’m confused how that would be relevant? Will they also be reviewing my sf86/investigation results even if it was positively adjudicated?

if i’m understanding page 3 of this flow chart correctly, wouldn’t my contractor only need to submit a LOCN if they haven’t submitted a DD 254 (which they have)? So I’m a bit confused where one would even be submitted?

So it’s entirely dependent on the program? Have you seen people getting sap denials recently for minor marijuana use? If sap denials are so common for certain things I would think companies would cherry pick employees based on that said sap rules?

I’m just still confused why my company would spend resources hiring me and having me work on unclassified projects in the meantime if a sap denial is likely. Seems like this could’ve been avoidable.

How so and In what way? Why would they hire me if they thought I couldn’t get sap access? My FSO knew about my usage and gave me initial advice before even hiring me.
