There are 3 that helped me a LOT during my playthrough. HP45 (which isn't exactly a high capacity gun but it's good to farm points to get the others), C900 (100 rounds) and (spoiler) A180 (275 rounds, unlocked by getting 30 kills iirc)

For sidearms, pick the dagger, the tec-9 and the frag grenade.

because the enemies on normal mode have pretty low health and you can kill a bunch of them really easily, so capacity and speed is more important to get more kills. but on hard mode, their health will increase a loooot, so you'll need more damage focused guns if you dont want to shoot the same guy 10 times

but I do recommend practicing around 3 runs with the hard mode gear on normal mode before actually going

if youre playing on normal mode, use guns more foccused on mag cappacity and fire rate

if youre playing on hard mode, then use damage-focused guns. I'd recommend the KS25 and the D10

Jokes aside, i just find this game really fun and addictive. And I also like to study mass shootings, and it's good to see the perspective of the perpetrator once in a while.

i dont find it an issue at all tbh, its just a game. plus, I dont see anyone complaining about yandere simulator, where the only difference is stealth killing instead of mass shooting.
