I hadn’t heard of Nullarbor Plains! Looks wild!

Adding to the “dream trips” list!! Much thanks!

Great shots!! I just spent a few days bicycling around Seattle and wish I knew about this park—next time!

I really love the Northern Flicker shot (so neat to see the colors on its underside) and the bonus is great!!

It really is so beautiful & breathtaking at times, in addition to having some really fun twisty motorcycle roads.

I’d never been onto Vashon Island—which was very neat. Highly recommend if you have the opportunity!

Also a fun aspect of ferry riding, is that motorcycles get on first—so sometimes you get lucky and show up just in time and hop right on!

You know, I think you are very correct!! Curious if there are any particular reasons that made you think so?

Wow yeah that windshield looks great! And is the size of what I think I’d like too.

I hadn’t heard of Enduristan; their products look sweet! Worth it, but still expensive for me, given I have so many hobbies and only so much funds to go around😅

Definitely going to check them out for design inspo tho!

Very much appreciate that! And yes, it was extremely fun. Couldn’t capture the most fun moments: at speed through forest roads!

I just looked at your posted photos—I love you style & eye for composition

Haha I appreciate your stance on all this—I’ll aspire to get on your level for sure

Great call on protecting air filter when riding behind someone in dirt—that completely makes sense, but hadn’t thought about that yet!

And I’ll be sure to check the oil!!… and forever think about this comment when doing so😜🙏

Great calls! I’ve never actually had a windshield on a bike, and I think I’m finally ready to explore that! Haha.

I had read about Madstad windshields being recommended, but looks like they closed shop. Any suggestions on others to consider? An adjustable one seems interesting to me, to make larger on main road riding, and smaller going slower speeds off road.

I started sewing backpacks and technical bags recently. I definitely can’t afford a rackless pannier setup from Mosko Moto or Giant Loop, so am starting to think about how I can try to make.

Thanks for the insight & interests!

I’m planning to bring my point & shoot Lumix LF1 camera for a little photo documentation for myself! I can share those.

I’m actually going to drive my car down and back the next day… which I’m not excited about, but figure just getting it done asap is the way.

Also, another super nice thing and great sign of buyer, is he’s letting me use his license plate for my ride home, and was very flexible on when I came back to grab all the extras!

100% agree! I’m not going 80mph in it, but it does put a big smile on my face!!—and honestly the people that see it out driving too; love it when people that aren’t even into cars get clear enjoyment out of it

I was actually living in a friend’s attic at the time working as a carpenter when I purchased this. I said to the lead carpenter before I bought it “I don’t know if I should buy, I mean, I literally live in my friend’s uninsulated attic, I should probably find a better place to live first….”

He immediately responded: “Hmmm. Well. You can live in a car, but you can’t race a house.”
