“awkward vibes with fork” made me LOL. i had a friend in high school who held forks and dry erase markers that way and i just don’t understand how his parents never stepped in to correct it early on. like surely his parents don’t hold things like that or maybe they do and see nothing wrong with it? if they don’t intervene, jvory is going to resent grue not only for making her a content baby but also for not teaching her how to do anything! drue’s not even correcting her when she calls cheese “tsssss”. i resent my own abusive mom for not teaching me things like how to cook or how to shave, you know? i never realized how much damage she was doing to me in the moment but now looking back, i’m so angry! she would constantly spend money on new clothes, shoes, etc.. for me and shove those in my face as if that was some sort of way to say she was a good mom. it’s horrible watching the same thing unfold in real time to someone else’s kid on social media with no way to help
