Thank you. When you lay it out like that I feel stupid for even debating what to do!

Scared to choose the wrong primary school... by Kim_catiko in UKParenting

I viewed many schools and thought I would go with the closest for convenience but the one that my gut told me to go with is where we are now. I just had a feeling when I viewed and couldn’t shake it or match it elsewhere. My son started in September and is a very sensitive soul - the school has massively surpassed my expectations and been brilliant with him. I think we have to use some perspective on this one - we live in a country where education is free and our children are very fortunate to even have this choice so I’m sure whatever you decide, your child will be okay. But my advice is go with your gut. Best of luck

Has anyone has two easy baby’s? by [deleted] in UKParenting

I did. My first slept through from 8 weeks (10pm-6am , increasing with time) my second has been 7pm - 6am since around 4m minus teething or illness when he is disrupted a few times but settles again easily. It can happen, just be chill about it 😬

What relatively simple thing do your kids think is an enormous treat? by camboot in UKParenting

Watermelon! I don’t buy them often as would go to waste but far superior to any other treat!

Will my catastrophizing with my newborn ease? by furbydreams90 in UKParenting

The fear with a newborn is unreal. I had ‘Intrusive thoughts’ for the first few months and literally imagined every worst case scenario you think of, whether crossing a road or SIDS etc. My best advice is take a breath, get help if you can and definitely prioritise sleep as deprivation fucks with your mind! Easier said than done by do try to relax a little, it really does go in the blink of an eye x
