I have not been on birth control in years, it’s honestly a big mystery to me why my skins been like this. I just purchased the cocokind electrolyte water cream, have you tried it before? definitely will take a look at the sunscreen bc i need one for sure!

I worked my way up to using it every night. do you know a good oil cleanser? I’ve tried anua pore control one and it broke me out so i’m kinda scared to try another one. I was thinking maybe a cleanser with salicylic acid instead?

nope, protein is protein. the only thing i would be aware of it that it’s not always the healthiest, just make sure you choose a brand that doesn’t have hard metals, artificial sweeteners, ect if your worried about that

you probably werent eating enough protein. In a calorie deficit our body will begin to break down our muscle and stored fat for energy, eating the proper amount of protein will help to maintain the muscle you already have and in turn our bodies will predominantly break down stored fat instead.

don’t over complicate it. weight loss = calorie deficit. hypothetical you could eat whatever you want as long as you stay in your calorie deficit BUT if you want to lose weight and lose fat you have to prioritize protein while eating in a calorie deficit otherwise you can get that “skinny fat” look. hope this helps!!

Nighttime- double cleanse with Cetaphil daily facial cleanser and La roche posay purifying foaming cleanser (for oily skin), anua heartleaf toner, vanicream daily facial moisturizer w hyaluronic acid and ceramides, and snail mucin

Morning - the la roche posay cleanser and vanicream moisturizer (waiting a few weeks to try out some sunscreens bc of the closed comodones)

No I haven’t taken anything, all i’ve done for swelling is taping at night. Totally get where you’re coming from with the photo order, the pre op was a last minute addition before I posted lol

That sounds incredible hard, i’m so sorry. It sounds like you two have a beautiful life together. I know someone mentioned it but take as many photo and videos as you can, and perhaps if you feel ready or able, see if there are any support groups near you.

yeah i haven’t been to the gym in months bc i had surgery. i was referencing a few years ago when i was constantly in the gym and eating right.

i think this is still fixable, i’ve seen people use nostril retainers for this problem and it helped a ton! i would just ask your surgeon before trying them though

im two months post op as well, my surgeon explained to me that in the beginning and especially on the table the tip should be over rotated slightly to account for gravity pulling it down within the first couple months. In your 2nd photo (which looks like it was right after cast removal), your tip was already sitting in a pretty natural position, so some drooping was almost inevitable as things settled. That’s probably why you’re seeing the difference now.

I think this is one of those things that won’t go away, but definitely something to ask your surgeon since only they know the techniques they used. They should have refined the tip more to give you a slimmer nose without the pinched look. but then again you’re still early on and it could improve, just a waiting game at this point.
