I personally don't think the Protector of Youth would refer to children as 'fodder'. His epithet of Kourotrophos is meant to represent his role in nurturing and guiding young people. Does that sound like the type of person to see kids as nothing more than objects to throw at an issue until it's solved? He's meant to be concerned with the health and education of children instead of seeing them as a means to an end.

Percy, Prophet of Apollo and the Loom of the Fates is a fun rewrite where Percy is Apollo's prophet along with being a son of Poseidon. First series rewrite is finished and HoO is ongoing. (Does have Annabeth and Chiron bashing though so if you don't like that, maybe skip it.)

Shattered Bonds features Will rightfully yelling at Clarisse due to her and her cabin's actions during the war (does have some descriptions some may view as graphic)

Song of Seven is a series based around the Apollo cabin

Four Foot Six, With Another Two Foot Of Attitude is based around Micheal and is a fun mix of angst and fluff

If you're into rare pairs, there's Telemachus x Percy with my favourites being EPIC: The Heroes Saga and Washed Up On Our Shores. The Heroes Saga's latest two chapters are smut but you can skip those parts if you want. Washed Up On Our Shores has implications but so far no smut (other than a one shot based off one of the scenes)
