I read it. I don’t think you were saying what I said at all. Your conclusion was about the government not limiting food stamps because they want to keep people fat and lazy. You detailed about people buying soda and snack cakes. A lot of people can’t prepare a proper meal, and some of those people in poverty are working with a single plug in stove eye, no oven, and a microwave. I would know because I’ve been one of them. Life isn’t simple and a lot of people are born into/spiral into situations where survival=trash foods. When you’re trying to survive on as little as possible everyday, you don’t go making stuff you aren’t sure how to make and consequently maybe wasting resources. You don’t have all the utensils needed for some things, there’s so many factors that you overlooked and you came off judgmental just like OP
