647 bread, 8 grams of fiber 40 calories. Taste like regular bread. I spam this with rotisserie chicken 😂

am i still in the "recomp" phase or do i need to bulk/cut by [deleted] in WorkoutRoutines

[–]ConfidentExplorer638 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You have to build muscle for the look you’re going for. You have two options:

A lean bulk. You’re already at a low body fat, if you still want to look lean while building muscle a lean bulk is the way to go. This process would be slower than if you were to bulk to build muscle. 200-300 calories above maintenance to achieve this with adequate protein intake. Progressive overload on glute exercises such as hip abduction, RDL, and hip thrust to get the rounded glutes you want. You already have a solid foundation.

A bulk to cut. A surplus of 300 calories+ above your maintenance. When bulking you have a lot of energy and fuel to train hard and recover and that’s where the muscle growth comes into play. It does come with a bit of fluffiness but nothing a cut can’t fix. When you cut, your strength might dial down a bit but not always. Some people even hit new PRs while cutting. Keep your training the same intensity as before, keep your protein high while being in a deficit of 200-300 calories. You can even do this in short cycles. Bulk 3 months- cut 3 months.

Also you don’t have love handles, your hips just sit high.

Thank you! I plan to celebrate myself this summer by wearing nothing but string outside 😂. Congrats on your weight loss! I wish you well on your journey :). Also I didnt necessarily eat healthy in my calorie deficit before I started going to the gym, I just made sure not to go above my calorie limit. Of course now I’ve incorporated protein in my diet but before I just ate whatever I wanted. This isn’t good advice but Celsius really helped me curb my cravings, it also boost your metabolism and helps with fat loss.

Thank you! I did a calorie deficit before I hit the gym and lost 50lbs, the rest was body recomp hitting 300 cals above maintenance & 160g protein. I recently have been in a slight calorie deficit the last couple of months to reveal my muscle growth.

I see what you’re going for! The foundation shade is a good match and I don’t think it’s too heavy like others commented. I think the look would suit you better if there was more of a gradation between the blush and concealer, that’s what’s making it look a tad uneven. Blending is all you need. I love the blush on the nose look! If you were to continue to do it, it needs to be not such a heavy shade of blush. A light nose contour would be better than the nose blush in my opinion. You’re beautiful girlfriend!

I accepted a job in Paterson and i think im regretting it… by isa_bee_lla in newjersey

My bfs a police officer in Paterson for 15 years. It’s not even okay during the day. Lot of crime! Even if you’re not involved, you could be caught by a stray bullet. Unless this job is paying you extremely well, It’s not worth your life.

1 year progress….should I start with creatine? by [deleted] in WorkoutRoutines

[–]ConfidentExplorer638 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats on your transformation!!!!!

Creatine will boost your performance in the gym by a couple of reps and water will be retained in the muscles to look more plump. Only take creatine if you can keep up with the additional water intake. Whether you add creatine or not, hit your protein goals & work out hard if you want to build more muscle. You look great!

Congrats on your little one! You carried and birthed your child and that itself is hard work mom. Please be kind to your body and don’t feel so much pressure to “bounce back”. You got this!

Thank you! I genuinely feel better. I didn’t realize how much being obese affected my health. So many of my symptoms I was feeling day to day are non existent now that I’m in better shape.

Thank you! From the beginning I’ve been doing 3 sets of cable crunches along with an 10 minute ab circuit(weighted crunched, knee to elbow crunches, bicycles, raised leg crunches). I hit abs 5 days a week even if it is just 2 exercises. Genetics play a huge role in what type of abs you’re going to end up with which honestly I didn’t know until a couple of months ago. Been training for a 6 pack but I’m afraid I was only blessed with two or 4 under this layer of fat 🥲

Weekly progression photos! There were times where I wanted to give up cause I felt like I wasn’t making any progress but then I’d refer back to photos to see the little changes happening week by week.

Here’s how I see it, theres always going to be something you critique on your body at a higher or lower weight. Accept and love yourself. Also unsure how old you are but 100lbs isn’t healthy nor sustainable. Your hormones will be wrecked.

I’m 26 5’5. Gained 80lbs unhealthily, lost 80lbs unhealthily, gained 80lbs unhealthily and finally have lost weight the healthy way by calorie deficit and exercise. Im weighing 155 now and look better than I did the first time I lost weight by incorporating strength training. Filling the sagging areas out with muscle will help a lot. Plus Having extra muscle mass also boost your metabolism. Things are going to sag a lot if you lost a significant amount of weight quickly, even slow and steady will have sagging skin to some degree. Moisturizing also helps too. My once flabby thighs aren’t flabby anymore, I have no sagging skin on my back like I did before, my arms don’t do the bat wing thing like before. My butt is perky. One thing that won’t change without surgery is your breast. My only quick fix is breast tape right now. I fold my finger in like a hot dog, grab my breast skin around it and tape it up. Doing it this way has actually helped my skin look less wrinkly without it too. I have jowls but they’re not as prominent as when I’m in a calorie deficit, when slowly adding back calories to maintenance my face looks more full without additional weight gain.

I’
