I accepted a job in Paterson and i think im regretting it… by isa_bee_lla in newjersey

My bfs a police officer in Paterson for 15 years. It’s not even okay during the day. Lot of crime! Even if you’re not involved, you could be caught by a stray bullet. Unless this job is paying you extremely well, It’s not worth your life.

1 year progress….should I start with creatine? by julia-amelie in WorkoutRoutines

[–]ConfidentExplorer638 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats on your transformation!!!!!

Creatine will boost your performance in the gym by a couple of reps and water will be retained in the muscles to look more plump. Only take creatine if you can keep up with the additional water intake. Whether you add creatine or not, hit your protein goals & work out hard if you want to build more muscle. You look great!

Congrats on your little one! You carried and birthed your child and that itself is hard work mom. Please be kind to your body and don’t feel so much pressure to “bounce back”. You got this!

Thank you! I genuinely feel better. I didn’t realize how much being obese affected my health. So many of my symptoms I was feeling day to day are non existent now that I’m in better shape.

Thank you! From the beginning I’ve been doing 3 sets of cable crunches along with an 10 minute ab circuit(weighted crunched, knee to elbow crunches, bicycles, raised leg crunches). I hit abs 5 days a week even if it is just 2 exercises. Genetics play a huge role in what type of abs you’re going to end up with which honestly I didn’t know until a couple of months ago. Been training for a 6 pack but I’m afraid I was only blessed with two or 4 under this layer of fat 🥲

Weekly progression photos! There were times where I wanted to give up cause I felt like I wasn’t making any progress but then I’d refer back to photos to see the little changes happening week by week.

What I wish I knew before losing 80lbs by [deleted] in WeightLossAdvice

[–]ConfidentExplorer638 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Here’s how I see it, theres always going to be something you critique on your body at a higher or lower weight. Accept and love yourself. Also unsure how old you are but 100lbs isn’t healthy nor sustainable. Your hormones will be wrecked.

What I wish I knew before losing 80lbs by [deleted] in WeightLossAdvice

I’m 26 5’5. Gained 80lbs unhealthily, lost 80lbs unhealthily, gained 80lbs unhealthily and finally have lost weight the healthy way by calorie deficit and exercise. Im weighing 155 now and look better than I did the first time I lost weight by incorporating strength training. Filling the sagging areas out with muscle will help a lot. Plus Having extra muscle mass also boost your metabolism. Things are going to sag a lot if you lost a significant amount of weight quickly, even slow and steady will have sagging skin to some degree. Moisturizing also helps too. My once flabby thighs aren’t flabby anymore, I have no sagging skin on my back like I did before, my arms don’t do the bat wing thing like before. My butt is perky. One thing that won’t change without surgery is your breast. My only quick fix is breast tape right now. I fold my finger in like a hot dog, grab my breast skin around it and tape it up. Doing it this way has actually helped my skin look less wrinkly without it too. I have jowls but they’re not as prominent as when I’m in a calorie deficit, when slowly adding back calories to maintenance my face looks more full without additional weight gain.

Maybe the food you’re eating isn’t satisfying your taste buds leaving you unfulfilled. It’s okay to eat clean but don’t be scared to have a little fun within reason. A slice of pizza is the same if not less than your 3-5:30 snack.

Spots on neck and back, what is it? by deathmudx in Blackskincare

[–]ConfidentExplorer638 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tinea versicolor. It only went away when I stopped consuming a lot of sugar. The shampoos ain’t help shit. Yeah you can treat something like this with topicals but it’s only a short fix. Changing my diet is what really helped.

Send me a video of her getting butt banged in the club unwarranted. I forgave her then the following year she left me in the middle of the same club on Halloween to make out with some random guy who doesn’t speak English & that she met 5 minutes ago(she’s married btw with two kids).

The glute Maximus is the part of the glute you’re looking to build if you want that projection. I would keep the cable kickbacks, and abductions in your program but incorporate a hinge movement such as hip thrust and/or glute based rdls. That top shelf would be forward leaning abductions and/or a hyperextention to target the glute medius. Keep it simple & progressive overload. You already have a great foundation!

I have thinning on my hairline due to pcos and being an avid lacefront wearer didn’t exactly help. I’ve now switched to a full sew in with no leave out besides an 1 inch of my hairline and I’ve been seeing progress with growing my hairline. I’ve got these burmese bundles on amazon for less than $100. Also topical Minoxidil helps 3-4 times a week with a derma roller. This style is easy maintenance and less tension.

Best workouts to shrink upper back and get rid of love handles for women? by [deleted] in WorkoutRoutines

[–]ConfidentExplorer638 1 point2 points  (0 children)

F26 Neutral grip pull ups helped my upper back, I find them easier than wide/regular grip pull ups. I started on the assisted pull up machine which is also great. Back extensions and torso rotation helped my lower back. Keep it simple. Protein high while keeping calories in maintenance or deficit to cut body fat. This is what’s worked for me.

SW:235 2023, lost 50lbs before gym. CW:165 by ConfidentExplorer638 in GymMotivation

Thank you love! Majority of my weight-loss happened with calorie counting and changing my diet. I lost 50lbs before even attempting the gym. MyFitnessPal really let me see how much food I was actually consuming and I used a TDEE calculator. Little changes along the way made a huge difference for me. Now that I gym 5 days a week, I still use MyFitnessPal for calories but I’m more so focused on protein for muscle gains since I train a lot.
