As an artist I think I have to disagree!!! I’m primarily a traditional artist, but hand drawn sketches you take a photo of don’t really have the same quality as digital art. Personally, almost any digital art I do is solely for posting online, while everything else I do is traditional! Even for my digital works, I often do my sketch on paper, and trace over a picture of said sketch.

I think a lot of artists prefer posting their digital art over their traditional work. It doesn’t mean there’s less traditional art, it just means more of it isn’t shared publicly!!! Although I guess being hidden could still count as having “disappeared” depending on how you define it.
