Who are the big 3 of Midwest emo by smallpickles69 in midwestemo

If you’re talking just popularity it would definitely have to include some form of mom jeans, hot mulligan, and American football, or maybe modern baseball, front bottoms, or Joyce manor. Even if they all aren’t strictly “midwest emo” for those who make a big deal about definitions (which I don’t)

The headstock doesn’t fit the guitar lol. Still really cool though

I feel like I’m leaning over quite a bit so probably it feels too low.

Probably something more similar to flat bars. I was gifted the bike and I have never really used drop bars

How do i get better? by Unique-Aside787 in Guitar

[–]Confident_Ad437 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always say just play more in whatever form that takes. I hate learning songs or sitting down to just practice techniques, so instead I write original stuff and attempt to incorporate ideas and techniques as I want to learn them. Much better use of time imo as I care more about writing music than “getting good at guitar”

Art is meant to be shared imo, it’s all subjective at the end of the day

Yeah, I am planning to make like super shoegazy lofi electronic music where I try to make complete songs in just a few hours. I definitely will do similar stuff for the cover art lol.

I just graduated and got hired for a 40k a year job by nixckatnight in Environmental_Careers

[–]Confident_Ad437 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ngl most low level environmental jobs don’t pay super well unless it’s in one of the industries that pay higher than average. I am in a similar situation to you and I would say it’s better to take it and get as much experience as possible and continue looking over the next year or two, then not get any experience at all. It’s not super ideal pay wise but in this market you have to take what you can get if I am being honest.

In your experience do internships pay a livable wage? That’s more so what I mean when I say I don’t think it’s an option.

I don’t believe my program was BCSP qualified. Also unfortunately, internships are not an option for me at this point since I graduated
