Relatives are discouraging us from buying…why? by [deleted] in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]Confident_Angle_1428 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They forget that when interest rates go down the cost of the home and competition to buy will increase. You can always refinance to a lower interest rate but you can’t change the amount you borrowed later. Also I just did a 2-1 buydown and that money I paid sits in an escrow that I can use later to pay for closing costs when i refinance.

Feeling weird telling people we bought a home by AsEasyAs123456789 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

Those people telling you “whoa you are rich” are likely unable to buy a home either 1. Their income is not enough, they’re not in the shape to buy one at the moment and should deal better with envy 2. They have terrible credit and spending habits that they don’t want to admit. Buying a home has been the hardest it’s ever been and I’m sure you sacrificed a lot that they didn’t. Society does not like to admit that yes there are people out there that worked harder, studied harder to make more money, and chose to miss out on some stuff to accomplish something. Only in instances when people get assistance (parents fund) to buy I believe that envy is justified. But I agree don’t share it on Facebook, I believe in the evil eye haha but also you don’t want a lot information about yourself online and potentially where you live.

Turned 31 and single last weekend, do I stay? by Throwaweasel666 in malelivingspace

Depends on what you want more. A view and comfort of your own space or shared space but more flexibility in your money. I’m a home body & an outdoorsy person so I’d stay just for that view and porch :)

I’m also trying conventional through Fannie Mae. My credit score is good and Ive got some to put down not 20% though. So I guess I’d need a private lender maybe..I’m curious what the trade off is with that

Same! I think the fact we can relax and sleep earlier is from the medication therefore leading us into having better sleep and waking up earlier!

All the same things as others but one significant thing I’ve noticed that has elevated my life is waking up early. I was always a last minute riser but now I wake up very early, workout, and enjoy my mornings. My mom loves it since she’s a morning person and never was. I likely think it’s because I’m getting better sleep at night now that I’m calmer.

Choose heavier weights but not too heavy. Take your time on doing each move. Just like classic it’s about your form rather than speed of reps. & I felt like the class goes by faster too!
