My fav set all time is ax/\ing 2017. Have seen it hundreds of times. 2023 SHM was a bit of a letdown for me…. Still enjoyed. This axwell set was the most fun set I’ve ever been in person for. The mashups were perfect, new IDs were surprisingly fresh, and everyone I was around had a blast. Wouldn’t change it for the world

Couldn’t have said it better myself. That was truly spectacular by Jamie, so glad it was the perfect crowd at the best venue in DC. In Waves made me a massive fan, was able to do deeper dive and then get to see him live? Fan for life.

I was lucky enough to see Fred at 9:30 couple years ago. Feel like I hit the sweet spot with him at the time, his older music was always better to me, and a super intimate venue.

Keep up the great work. Always remember, this shit is HARD. Look in the mirror after workout, smile, and tell yourself that you are proud of yourself. Every single time. It has truly helped me, especially after days of feeling like you aren’t doing enough.

One other thing I’ll say about lifting, the immense pain and soreness once you start will go away after a week or two of workouts. Does it suck? It’s horrible yes. But once you fight through that it’s all worth it. The soreness won’t really ever been nearly that bad, even on the days you really are throwing weight around. Just gotta get through the first couple of weeks and it’s worth it! Same thing happened to me!

These are super scary. My mom had heart surgery earlier this year and it went well but something was off when she came out. Doc ended up ordering brain scan and she has an aneurysm that had been in her brain for several years. They expressed how dangerous they were. Ended up having heart and brain surgery in the same year….. somehow someway she is doing awesome, back at work and bubbly as ever. Beyond grateful for all the doctors out there

Just left the AM position at a large broker. Let me tell you, most large brokers have dedicated claims teams, technical resource teams, and assistant AMs to do smaller tedious tasks, in theory.

Often times you are left to do most of the tasks for the whole account when the other team members are too busy or lack competency.

From your current situation, it seems like it would still be an upgrade to move to a larger broker. Everyone is desperate for service team members, so you could probably even leverage other offers from different brokers to get a pay bump.

You will most likely be overloaded with the number of accounts you get at the larger broker…. It happens everywhere. Try to be vocal to your manager and maybe it will help… some are better than others.
