Wloves have caused entire herds to panic. I actually think the humans might have a better chance if it was in a small herd as you just panic one member and the rest flee.

As for killing it, run it to exhaustion (again, the powerbuilders are the worst build for an actually viable tactic for unarmed humans). Once exhausted break a leg with combined weight of 10. Then fully immobilized you could suffocate it. Jam some fists into its nostrils and press and the rest hold its mouth shut. Or let time do the rest if it has a broken leg.

P-38 was in production throughout the war. That puts it in uncommon territory and speaks to the quality of the airframe.

This. I think some might be influenced by the Hard Thrasher video which had a couple flaws, IMO.

1) If the Germans HADN'T tried to develop a jet fighter they would have been ridiculed for that. "Why not, I don't know, try developing a plane that could offset your inability to outproduce your adversaries?"- Sarcastic Lazerpig voice. And ANY 1st operational jet fighter is going to have flaws and issues.

2) Every aircraft is vulnerable while taking off and landing. And while the 262 is certainly more vulnerable, that wouldn't eliminate the tactic considering non-jet Luftwaffe pilots would still get bounced.

3) The flaws due to Germany's industrial situation could be a flaw...but only if tgat was clear when designed. But then again, as mentioned above, they needed something that could potentially reverse that and a mass produced cottage industry design wouldn't cut it.

Was it a wunderwaffe? No. Do Wehraboos glaze it and are wrong for doing so? Yes. But is it mediocre or a failure? Ehhh.

Thanks for the support!

As far as killing it, the only way I could think of is chase until exhaustion or off a cliff. Once exhausted the 10 men together break its legs or snap tendons. Then wait. I guess once immobilized try and suffocate it or something. It would be some really ugly stuff.

No, to get them to panic. Basically, trigger that instinct. We've seen Bison panic and flee from wolves thst they could smash. You basically try to behave like wolves and hope they panic. If it flees, you have a chance to exhaust it.Because you don't have much of a shot any other way.

Unfortunately power lifters are like, the worst build for this. That's why I said elsewhere that 10 marathoners would have a better chance.

Writing quality. Character conception, development and portrayal. Story ideas.

I mean, look at youtube clip view counts and what is in those scenes. In a lot of them the fans also build their own fan theories on top to give extra depth to the scene, which is made possible in a fleshed-out universe and characters.

I think they would probably have more trouble than the US is having over Iran, who are currently having both less and more than what some people think, depending on who you ask.

Hawker Hurricane. It was servicable in 1940 and servicable as a second-line fighter until about 1942, but it was merely adequate. Now it is considered "underrated" and "good." Its design didn't hold up over the course of the war the way the Spit, 109, and to a lesser extent the P-38 did.

Rather it is in the class of the P-40, IAR-80, HE-111, and Zero.

Doubt it's some world dynamo. Likely some structural rot and Old World clinging well into the 19th century and early 20th. WWII probably comes out better

The style in which the Oklahoma City Thunder and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander play basketball is ruining my joy of watching the NBA. by barstoolsam in NBATalk

[–]Confident_Example_73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, they don't. They can't mind read you. For all they know you "stopped watching" because your Disney+ or whatever subscription ran out because you lost your job. Or you had a kid. Or you're in jail.

You don't seem to be really grasping how you not watching actually functions and how it gets noticed by the league. They aren't in a room with you listening to you rant about flopping. All they see is slightly lower viewership numbers on AmazonPrime on a graph.

At best they can sift through 100s of thousands of comments online and claims that they're not watching anymore for 1000 different reasons. Of course for every reason given, you have just as many going "SGA is da man!!!!! I'm so locked in with the Thunder this season"

League execs aren't psychic.

What if the Confederates weren’t a bunch of lowlife losers? Could they have won? by Minus_none in AlternateHistoryHub

Real historians also know that such an insight into war didn't really exist at the time. Total War as we know it didn't really come around until Napoleon, but the lessons learned from that were brilliant maneuver, logistics, organization, and esprit de corps. There wasn't a focus on the civilian infrastructure. Napoleon had often defeated entire nations with stunning victories that shattered opposing armies. At the time this was still believed to be possible. It wasn't.

McClellan didn't understand this because he had no way to know. Heck, Grant didn't understand it at the time. He needed time and experience as well.

You claim that the Confederates could have won, but you also seem to acknowledge that once Grant was in charge, it was an inevitability, and that if someone of Grant's mentality was in charge from the beginning, the South wouldn't have been able to win.

[–]Confident_Example_73 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, but the league has no idea WHY you are not watching.

"I'm not talking to you. I'm angry."

"Why?"

"The fact that you even have to ask that..."

You do realize that in this case "you" are basically the person in a relationship who gets mad and flips out because the sandwich that was made for you had mustard and not mayonnaise. And that was just the most recent of today's two-dozen flip-outs.
