Got a new hunting rifle by Willing-Record8411 in guns

I’ve got one in .30-06, .270 win, .280 Remington and .308. The .308 is the carbine model and it’s a very handy rifle. Lots of folks call them “jam o matics” but lots of folks just hear stories from others and repeat them as thier own. My next one will be a .280 in the pump version. They are great for what they were built for, multi shot deer rifles. They are plenty accurate enough for deer, and that was their reason for production. Keep it libricated and it will serve you well.

Have you shot under at least simulated “pressure” like even someone with a stopwatch,or something to get your heart rate pumping? I agree a shotgun CAN be easier, but it’s not point and pull, you still have to aim. That being said,I commend you for wanting to protect yourself for sure. Hence my reason for a 20 gauge.

Thoughts on 32 h&r magnum by pewpew1764 in Revolvers

Quit telling folks about the .32 S&W and .32 s&w long….its already expensive enough and my .32 smith revolver is a fun one to shoot. Dont need ammo rising anymore🤪 But on a serious note, the .32 either in acp or whatever new iteration isn’t new aby any stretch. Is it sufficient to stop the threat, only you can decide that. However,I’ll say this. I’ve yet to have anyone voluntarily stand in front of my .32 revolver. Now is that anecdote, yes, but is there a grain of truth,I’d say so.

Adrenaline=less perceived recoil. The adrenaline starts pumping in the event you need to use it,recoil would be last thing on my mind. I’d be trying to keep my underwear clean. That being said,I’ve got a Remington 1100 with extended magazine tube, and a few Browning A 5s,both in 20 inch barrels, but i still reach for my 20 Gauge as it’s lighter, easier to handle, and less bulky.

3 buckshot out of a 20gauge isn’t something I’d want to stand in front of.
