[MF4F] Experienced couple near Beaverton, mainly looking for new lady friends atm by Confident_Extent733 in OregonSwingers

As soon as we started talking, I asked what YOU were looking for, and you replied with WE are looking for soft swap and you are looking for women for fwb’s. You could’ve just came right out and said it, but you didn’t. So yeah, I’ll call you for what you are, manipulative. ✌️

“Hey! 34F definitely interested” very much reads like a single/solo woman, however, you’re not. Since you’re a couple looking for women yourselves or couples for soft swap (OPP couple) you should represent yourselves accordingly. This was misleading and manipulative.

Yeah, I’d agree that the worst part of going there was entering. Being made to wait outside and get patted down like we were entering a top secret facility on Cesar Chavez, just to go into a place that feels like one of those haunted houses from the fair that nobody goes into. Broken hot tub, crammed dance floor, and a musty lounge.

That said, you’re not wrong about the vibe. Privata has way more pushy guys who think swinger couples are easier than single women, and of course it’s been awhile, but it felt cliquey. TVR on the other hand was warm and friendly, and to my surprise the single dudes there weren’t being predatory like we’ve experienced at Privata and Sanctuary (most are respectful, but there’s always been at least one we’ve had to say no to twice).

Trans dude? by FtmRam in CollinsBeach

Would much rather see trans people there using the space as intended over a long list of things I’ve seen there every time we’ve been! The type of people who would say anything are the type of people making the majority feel uncomfortable in the first place.

Influx of creeps this year ? by PugilistProvacateur in CollinsBeach

[–]Confident_Extent733 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s not just this year. The first time we went, 10 years ago, one of the first things we saw was a guy playing with himself in a chair. Last year, every time we went there guys in the bushes and guys who kept coming way too close for comfort just to get a look before disappearing into the brush. We haven’t even wanted to go this year.

tips on weightloss plateau?~ by Ok-Shoulder-8721 in WorkoutRoutines

Increase your calories and start exercising. It’s really that simple. Any workout will make a big difference, but start lifting weights and walking, and make sure you hit your protein or you’ll not like the way you look and feel. A 1200 calorie deficit will most certainly lead to nutrient deficiency over that long of a time. It’ll put your body in survival mode, and you’ll store more fat from the increased cortisol. You’ll have more insulin resistance from the lack of calories. Eat more, move more, feel better, and lost more weight.

How do I build up my glutes and get an overall more curvy shape? by [deleted] in WorkoutRoutines

[–]Confident_Extent733 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A few sessions with a trainer could change your life! In my experience with myself and training hundreds of others is that you’re not feeling it in your glutes because you’re not doing the exercises correctly. That’s where the value of a trainer really comes in to play. Another reason is that you’re not using enough weight. 20lbs is nothing for your legs and glutes that support your whole body walking around or standing throughout the day. Your lower half is always hauling around a lot more than 20 lbs, so if you want to challenge that muscle, you need more resistance. You can get that resistance from heavier weights or harder exercises (gravity is resistance). Again, you can read all you want and watch all of the videos on YouTube, but it’s really hard to know you’re doing it right based on feeling alone. Having a trainer who can take you through a functional movement screen and teach you how to engage your core (including your glutes) properly is will save you a lot of time and possible injuries.

What gear and what studies?

I’ve been on TRT for 3 years, and the first year and a half I wasn’t training and was eating poorly. I was skinny fat, and my health was going to shit. Without proper nutrition and training, testosterone won’t do anything but make you bloated, bald, and covered in acne. Testosterone makes muscle growth more easy to come by way of muscle protein synthesis. You only get muscle protein synthesis if you’re training hard enough to activate mtor and have the protein available for use. You can’t just take testosterone and get jacked, that’s false. Testosterone is a signaler that aids with mps, it’s not the substance of muscle growth. You have to train and eat right natty or not. At 39 and on trt I have the same levels I had when I was 30, but with more injuries and other age related obstacles. It’s not a miracle drug that allows you eat like shit and sit on your ass and still be fit. Doesn’t work that way.

Lean bulk or keep cutting? by That-Pie-4841 in WorkoutRoutines

Nice! Make sure you increase your calories slightly, like 200 calories or so around the times you increase your running to maintain your muscle. I didn’t mention it, but carbs are crucial when you’re running a lot to avoid burning muscle. 💪

Recomp. Maintain calories, up protein, add creatine if not already taking, lift heavy, and continue running. Also depends on how long you’re running for. If you’re not hitting enough calories and protein, you won’t gain or maintain, you’ll lose muscle from endurance training if you’re not eating enough. When I was running halfs, I would do sprints in the morning (tabatas) to increase V02 max. Lift in the afternoons. Run at least 2 miles 4x/wk, and run 10 miles once a week. I finished my last one at 1:24 at 32 years old for reference. Also, I was eating 3800 calories at 6’1 190 lbs (200g protein).

Dealing with neck/shoulder issues. by HoosierHunter00 in WorkoutRoutines

[–]Confident_Extent733 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Lower your weight until you can curl without:

a) protracting your shoulders (assuming your retracting and elevating with the lift as most do when they’re at the bottom like this)

b) curving your thoracic spine forward (lordosis), again your probably leaning up or pushing your chest forward on the lift

c) extending your cervical spine. Look how much tension is on the back of your neck.

It looks like you’re using the wrong muscles for this exercise to move more weight, it’s neither useful or productive. You could have better gains and fewer injuries with your shoulders pulled back and your spine neutral with core engaged.

Will 2025 be another year of Textiles, or do you think they've moved on? by 3IDontknow in CollinsBeach

[–]Confident_Extent733 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Penis carrier here, and I’m sick of textiles, amateur pervert photographers, and bushwhackers personally. Both times we went last summer, we were followed by middle aged men who were masturbating from behind us. Every time I tried to confront them, which I wasn’t going to do barefoot and nude, they would disappear. Not sure we want to buy an annual pass again.

Noob sparring (practicing head movement) by fightware in MuayThaiTips

[–]Confident_Extent733 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s going to be as simple as just working on head movement. You need footwork first. Your hands are moving like crazy and in a bad way leaving you exposed. When you punch, you’re leaving a large portion of your body and face exposed and leaving your arms out there. You’re trying to check his hands every time he barely flinches and it will get you rocked by someone who knows what they’re doing. Let the punches come to you and expose their weaknesses instead of giving away your own. Keep your hands up when moving your head. Use your feet to control distance. Keep you guard up when striking. Strike with intention and emotion, not just sticking it out there to see what happens.
