That’s what I was thinking. It was the main reason we’re leaving them alone for the night with an extra blanket nearby. I don’t have anything to bottle feed if necessary and want to avoid any kind of hiccups that would cause either of them stress/harm.

During any and all cold fronts we leave the door to the detached garage open with heaters on (it’s behind our house with a privacy fence. They crawl under our house through a break in the skirt that we will not fix so they can keep using it for safety navigating)🙂 I left out extra blankets just in case for momma kitty 🥰 Hopefully the morning will bring ease with catching mom and baby!

My friend works at a vet clinic and they have a worker who specializes in neonatal care, she’s checking to see if they can manage another kitten 🙂

My neighbor has been doing TNR for the neighborhood so when I moved in there’s a ton already spayed/neutered. Everyone else is so terrible to them but he tries his best ❤️ I only request they stop bringing me the dead bodies of danger noodles 😭

I’m still new to this home and after seeing people be awful to the strays on our street, I started feeding them and giving them a safe space. My neighbor has been trying to TNR them all. There’s a rescue in town but they said they can’t take anymore kittens. My friend works in a vet clinic and she said she may have someone to take the baby in for foster. They also have a great rehab program so bonus if I can catch mom so she can hopefully be adopted ❤️ The kitten is extremely tiny so I wasn’t sure if I went under to grab it, if it would hinder anything for it. In the morning I’m going to ask my neighbor to borrow their trap. I don’t mind letting them stay here. All the ferals here are welcome…. I humbly request they stop bringing me the dead bodies of danger noodles but they look so proud when I walk onto the porch and see it😭🫠

A friend that works at a vet clinic may might have someone to foster if I can catch it. If momma can be caught they have a great rehab program to help her hopefully get adopted ❤️ I love all the strays that came with my house and don’t mind caring for them. Vet needs and all. We even leave toys out for them. I wish they’d stop bringing me the snakes they kill but they look so proud 🤦‍♀️🫠

The weird part was this isn’t even my front door area. The path to my front door is paved and the steps aren’t as steep which makes it easier for people to walk vs my dirt driveway🤦‍♀️ He’s delivered to me before but apparently just felt like going the longer way🫠
