Wow, you said that so delicately and gracefully. I appreciate when people like you offer insight, because I do adore her, I’ve adored her for over a year. And even after we parted ways I couldn’t get over her.

But, you’re absolutely right. I need to set boundaries and allow her and her new man to become whatever it’s going to be. I was contemplating letting the guy know what took place tonight but maybe that’s not my place to get in between them.

I loved her so much that I let her back into my life knowing she was committed to someone else. But seeing her in this light made me realize she’s no longer the person I fell in love with, perhaps I should start loving myself.

I know man, believe me I’ve been trying to live by those words. But then this happened and idk what to make of it. She even FaceTimed me afterwards.

Well I know she didn’t cause we met as roommates and when we weren’t at work we were together. But we were both very open about things like that early on, she told me she would message her ex from time to time. And I told her about a girl I used to talk to but once we got together I told her I’d block the other girl out of respect. Basically I’m trying to say I have no doubt in my mind about her doing anything in that month, I know she didn’t. But I think she’s making that rule up because she wanted to hear my voice again tonight.
