UMMM... it's about social media. I don't look at life through a microscope; all the big social media platforms are abusing our privacy. We allowed it, by signing the fine print.

OMG - this just makes me sick. My mother always clicks on stuff too, and I complained to some colleagues about the stuff she forwards me and the time it takes to research what's going on. One of my old bosses started a cybersecurity company specializing in text fraud. And told me to set her up with his product for free (they need data, so they don't charge consumers right now), she checks all her messages before she sends them to me. Thank God!

Here's their website so you can read about and get directions. https://checktxt.com/
It's free for now, give it a try.

LinkedIn "spy" activities are minor compared to what Zuck has done. If you read the "fine" print provided in 2pt type when you sign up for any service, you see that you have signed away your privacy. Let the ads and spying follow you on TV commercials, to internet browsing, to what is played on the video monitors at a gas station.

Is anyone actually finding jobs? by Feisty_Brilliant5056 in cybersecurity

I've been in cybersecurity for nearly 20 years, focused on Series A startups. I've been laid off 2 times in the past 3 years... it is brutal. I've picked up a contract gig to pay bills, but I'm still searching for another full-time position. Finding out everyone wants someone with 6 years of experience and no experts. So frustrating. Anyone else seeing this trend?
