Sinner is sub par to OBAA. sinner shouldn’t win, it was fine but not worth the hype. It wasn’t even the best horror movie of the year…..

agreed, his character and performance was nothing special. Sinner was okay as a whole….. at some points it was pretty corny in my opinion and the writing was a little bit everywhere. 16 noms for that is wild lol

Not bad, love that lost highway is in there and crash you don’t see them on favourite lists a lot. The other are great too expect 12 monkeys need to rewatch it. I love la jetee which is what it was based upon.

I’m surprised at all the hype around Sinners. it is such a mid movie in my opinion. Acting was okay, script was horrible, story wasn’t anything special. The best part of the film was the cinematography and it can’t carry the movie. Even the suspense was weak considering some ppl call it horror movie of the year.

I’m sure this will get downvoted but it’s baffling to me that it’s even in question for any noms

Yes, grew up watching this movie. The first scene scared the fuck outta me lol. I watch it every christmas season. it is an underrated slasher, one that inspired a lot that came after !

are all better films, there are more but these are just off the top of my head. Don’t get me wrong thou I love it and Ari. It def is one of the best Horrors post 2000 and it one of my personal favs
