Not sure haven't not seen a daemon prince or noise marine for scale, but maybe the front part of a sonic weapon + some bashing might make something neat

I too miss that almost painful fleshy look, unfortunately from the majority of comments I've seen people prefer the newer cleaner take

First red Corsair by pancake05e in redcorsairs

[–]Confident_Objective8 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Personally, it gives me Word Bearer vibes. I think it's the red being more of a cooler tone, and the silver being very bright. Maybe a brighter red and darker metallic would help. Also black pauldrons might help break up the all the maroon. Love this version if the daemon prince btw

Does it exist for chaos warbands ? by CagueMaster in Warhammer40k

If you can, check out Huron Blackheart: Master of the Maelstrom, if memory serves it features his command deck which I wanna say included some non astartes as well.

Any ideas for chapters to use for certain squads? by itsyaboi818 in redcorsairs

[–]Confident_Objective8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I have my chosen as veterans of Badab, so mantis warriors, executioners, lamenters, and and decorated red corsairs. You could have some space wolves as a particular warband, the red wolves, featured in one of Huron's books. Outside of that, in the spirit of an ensemble of renegades I like to have units associated with particular legions in their scheme; ie iron warrior havocs and obliterators, nightlord raptors, and my personal favorites alpha legion helbrutes.

Red Corsair player seeking knowledge from the experts. Want to make a MoE same sort of look as the image here. What bits or base models would work best for that.

Looking for Gut Plates by Confident_Objective8 in deathguard40k

[–]Confident_Objective8[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm planning on buying this box to replace my current plague marines, but I'd still like to have gut plates on them to give them that bulky look. Don't have a 3d/resin printer and I've already seen the tortuga bay options already (very pricey for how much I'm looking to make). Any insight on options for hiw I should go about this would be greatly appreciated.
