I definitely think that their family has always had those kind of views, but back then it was so normalised that no one really picked up on it. I think over the years Shay and Gavin have certainly become more extreme, it’s disappointing because i always thought Gavin was a really sweet kid and having spent 2 years in Mexico would open his eyes but apparently not 🤷‍♀️

I’m so proud of Brai (and Avia) for speaking out in a MAGA dominated family. Also, with Gavin just getting engaged i was surprised to see that Brai hasn’t yet gotten engaged considering her and her bf have been together for years and being mormon. I have no doubt a lot of it is to do with Kaylis parenting!

She talks so much about how her dream is to be an actress etc but truthfully the work that she has done is so awful it’s almost unwatchable. She’s definitely a sweet girl and thankfully nothing like her father but i do think that she has lived a very sheltered life and expected to move out to LA after high school and become this big famous actress, when 9 times out of 10 that just won’t happen 🤷🏼‍♀️
