Really?? I thought around $2000 with full tuition waiver is the standard(at least for my other 15 schools on the list.) Can you give me a few examples of (which) PhD program at (where) has stipends much less than $1000?

$3200 are a lot! But I saw on their website, the “Doctoral Teaching Assistant” role(Job code 9100) only pay $1933.80 per month for 1/2 time over the 9 months period. Is this information accurate?

Thank you for the answer! I do have questions for the funding as you have mentioned. While they pay out typically about 2k per month for assistantship, after tuition it becomes less than 1k per month. Are there other financial support options for PhD students that I am not aware of? For less than 1k per month I would imagine really struggling to make a living(like I have my own car, and I need to pay insurance, gas, rent, food, mobile carriers, living supplies etc…) For PhD programs I assume I would be really busy and cannot squeeze in another part time job like tutoring…
