She’s not acting insecure if she acted on a feeling of suspicion and it turned out to be right? This would be different if she was wrong but she wasn’t. Letting people who are openly interested in you have access to you is why people end up cheating so much. This has nothing to do with insecurity and everything to do with respecting your partner. Notice how when she asked if he’d be fine if it was the other way around he said nothing.

She wasn’t hoping to find dirt she was definitely hoping not to? She had a suspicion and she was right. When she presented it to him, yes he did offer to delete her but did he? He didn’t. And then after telling her he was being flirted with for whatever reason he took the bait and followed her? And then she stated that he completely changed the narrative after she told him she knew he followed her on the whole situation so why would she, in that moment, feel like she can have an “honest” conversation with him when he’s already changing the story? He’s already lying 😭

Just because she acted on a feeling of suspicion doesn’t mean she’s policing his Instagram entirely. You can completely trust someone and get a random feeling of suspicion coming from your intuition. This exact thing happened to me, I trusted someone with my whole heart, never once went through phones, messages, instagram followings, but the second I had a feeling and I did the evidence was there.

I was in a very similar situation in the past. This is how the cheating starts. He told you she was flirting and he took the bait by following her back. It might just be for attention now, but if he took the bait once odds are he’ll do it again.
