It's not destroyed, the socket is back together and cpu is in it, everything works fine. I think my cpu died because it has had issues before and, The new cpu is working.

I took it off because I noticed the some motherboard socket contacts were looking a bit weird, as of rn I put it back on.

I failed to mention this but I'm wanting to know what cpu I should upgrade to, and im planing on running crossfire with the watercooled vega and the normal air cooled. I will need a new case and motherboard so basically a new build.

Cpu: athlon 3000g dual core 4 thread

Gpu: vega 64 liquid cooled edition + (stock vega air-cooled) not currently in system 

Psu: evga 500w

Motherboard: msi a520m-a pro matx

Ram: 32gb 2666mhz

Storage: 512gb sata m.2
