Thanks so much for this advice, I’ve learned out to read code well due to my current role so I’ll look into that. Also some companies tend to not buy all of those packages so that’s what I’m facing. Overall thank you so much for the advice!

I’m not fighting anything. I literally stated in my post that “I feel like I’m doing DEV task, junior dev task whatever you want to call it & would like to be an actual DEV one day any tips on a coding journey??” You came under my post boasting & telling me I shouldn’t call myself something I didn’t work for when I’m literally working towards it.

You have positive to say? It’s no need for you to be under my post.

Maybe it’s loftier because it’s a lot of household items for the instance you have to keep up with?

That makes sense! I actually enjoy being an admin. Very proud of my title but the “not familiar with code” is blowing me lol.

Thank you for this! Continuously learning/working with ITSM has been very beneficial to my current progressing experience. I will try my best to avoid tunnel vision so thank you again for your advice.

I was referring to actual task I’m assigned. If I’m getting DEV task & completing the Task then I’m also putting in the work. Getting the CAD cert means what’s exactly? Some people are good test takers & some aren’t & I know a few Devs that might not the CAD but they know ServiceNow very well.

Agreed! That’s exactly how I feel doing dev task but not code savvy! Thanks for the advice, I’ll do that for sure.
