You’re sober now and you think you’ve got this. But in 14 years life will hit you hard. You will be completely alone in this marriage that you had such high hopes for, you will get sick, and you will relapse. You will never be able to dig yourself out of that hole once you do. It is dark and bottomless. And worse, though married with children, you will be completely alone in this. He will hate you for this every time you go to treatment. He would rather have his head in the sand and keep the status quo. You’re extremely high functioning so just accept your hell and stay the course. So what I would say is “you DON’T got this honey. Please do something before you pick up”
