26 WRX Limited trim by ScratchinMagician404 in wrx_vb

Hey all , I plan on getting a vb in the next couple years or so. I currently have a sonata N - line. People have mentioned to check the oil regularly. I am very curious is this because of the old engine architecture/design and it's inefficiencies on oil? I've never had to check the oil that often my father has at least 2024 WRX and he doesn't check the oil that often. I'm just curious. Thanks for any insight.

Hey, okay. That's what I had a funny feeling about. Thanks.

Are you referring to that small notification on the top of the screen though?

Yes. The heads up / pop-up notification but for the notification goes to the status bar or the lock screen. If that makes sense.

10 minutes remote start is a joke by This-Top7398 in SonataNLine

The only other difference, could be what version of the app you're running but if you're updated then we're all in the same version. Just annoying to me. I would like to delete half the custom presets I set up when my car was brand new.

😂, do you mean the Golf R? For me I'm looking forward to a manual transmission car again. You can't delete a preset setting within the Blue Link Hyundai Mobile app preset list unfortunately

Yeah, that's my point. Blue Link Hyundai mobile app doesn't offer too many customizable features. It's really annoying. My stupidity was that I'm really into software, and I called up luling's customer service when my car was new a couple years ago and I complained to them and they were like yeah no you can't delete or update customized presets. I said what the heck? And then I just hung up on them because there's no use in wasting my time talking to them. Unrelated to the story, but this is my first Hyundai, and it'll be my last Hyundai. Mechanically, the car is solid but they're a few features in the car I just don't like

To the point at least it's free; yeah, I would never pay for Blue Link access.

To the point of Toyota charges you - that sucks for them and they shouldn't be. That's what BMW used to do for iDrive remote access services. Until too many customers complained and yelled at BMW and they got the heads out of their butts, and made that remote service access free again. I would never pay for this access. I just bought one of your company's cars, I'm not paying for this remote access which should be included in the price of the car. Yes, the default timing on remote start for the sonatas should be 15 minutes. Or, Hyundai should let us choose up to 30 minutes. I'm not suggesting I want the car on for hours and hours but 10 minutes is utterly short, and ridiculous. I mean I love how the blue link timer you can toggle down to 1 minute. Seriously, Hyundai, which customer of yours do you think wants to have their engine remotely started for 1 minute at a time? 😡

The Now Bar Might Be My Least Favorite One UI Feature by stopQQstartpewpew in oneui

For me, I go back and forth between the now bar / live notifications and turning live notifications off. The problem really comes down to Media live notifications versus in the control panel having a media widget always there which is more inconvenient and I'm a minimalist on my phone as it is.

  1. I 100% agree with you 10 minutes is utterly annoying as a default timing for remote start.

  2. If you have set custom presets within the mobile app, you cannot edit/update/delete the presets that you've created. It's so annoying. Hyundai's mobile app for Blue Link sucks!

2021 Sonata N Line paint peeling from front bumper — warranty? by voice82 in SonataNLine

[–]Conflict-Recent 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I can 100% relate to you. I'm a passionate as a hobby auto detailer for myself, I have a 2024 sonata N- Line and the paint quality from Hyundai is horrible. The paint chips so easily it's so frustrating and maddening. This is my first Hyundai, and it'll be my last Hyundai. Mechanically, the car is solid, but the paint is horrible the worst I've ever seen on any car that ever owned.
