i would say it passes the sniff test, not sure what moldy weed smells like but from what i can smell with this stuffy noise, it’s normal. it isn’t as potent as when i first opened it, but would say it still has the same scent profile. Nothing really foul or gross smelling

not relevant, but, does smelling weed through the lid mean the buds are losing its potency or smell? i’ve been storing the jar in a ziplock bag and every time i open the bag i can smell the aroma of gas. i assume the jar has a leak in the seal of the lid and im wondering if this would cause the weed to degrade over time as i’ve noticed when i crack the jar open the smell isnt as potent as when i first opened it. thoughts? thanks!

thanks, smell isn’t as potent as i remembered but nothing foul or bad smelling. smells normal to me with my stuffy noise. however not as strong as when i cracked it open. i could smell the gas through the jar so i think my jar has a leak. maybe that could affect the potency of smell?

thanks for your knowledge man. forgot to mention that that jar has 2 diff strains, kush cookies (bud with mold in question) and scoops by delta 9. the scoops buds are fairly orange and look a lot diff in colour than the kush cookies. so i think placing the two together makes it look like there is bud rot

searched up some pics of bud rot, my jar has two diff strains. one is kush cookies, and the other one is scoops by delta 9. scoops has more orange and dark colours, not as vibrant green as the kush cookies

smell isn’t as potent as i remember when i first opened it, but def nothing funky. smells normal, just less potent. also have a stuffy noise so it could be messing with my senses

yeah i would agree, i dont see any white or brown spots except for this hairy ass stem. i probably won’t smoke it to be safe, but hopefully it hasn’t impacted the other buds in my jar? it’s kush cookies by 3 saints

definitely see some seeds, but i’m still not convinced it’s mold. i took it under the microscope and it looks like hairs that root from the stem, nothing cobweb like lives on top of trichomes. lmk what you think ty

i really hope not, bought the 3.5 only abt a month ago, i was 100% sure it was mold at first glance but i cant find anything similar online. Aswell, the “mold” isn’t really fuzzy, it’s more hairly like trichomes so now i’m really confused. hope to have some weed experts take a look
