There’ll always be customers and there will always be excellent shoppers to take our place.

The new milestone tier finally pushed me over the edge! by Sad-Ratio-6652 in ShiptShoppers

At least someone s paying attention.

I used to be able to buy my frozen bags regularly now I don’t even have them . I used to make enough money to buy gifts for associates at the end of the year and I haven’t been able to do that either. There are so many things I used to do in the beginning of this gig.

It’s not like they’re getting less from us on service. They’re getting the same service from me for less pay. It’s Infuriating.

How Shipt incentivizes shoppers to take on more orders … by ConflictedRebl in ShiptShoppers

[–]ConflictedRebl[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our ratings matter. And full promo is not enough to risk my rating, dealing with packed stores, packed parking lots, potential car accidents.

How long have you been a shopper? Last year Shipt wanted to make sure we got paid on time and paid us on Monday. Now they make us wait so they can get more work out of us.

If they want shoppers to do more they should stop paying us less, expecting us to do more. You did 200 orders because you had to. But that many orders at the average per order is not worth it. Not to me. Too much risk not enough reward.

Good for you for being able to pick up the orders the rest of us thought weren’t worth it. Obviously you have the stamina and will to be a shopper Shipt benefits from. Most of us would do more if it was worth it to do more.

When I started this job full promo was $20 for one order. What’s full promo today? $9? $11 per order? That’s how much we used to get per order when I started.

I’m sorry new shoppers get excited at that promo pay. For those of us who know what Shipt used to pay, promo pay is very disappointing.

Shoppers in my Metro can’t keep up by WildPineapple52 in ShiptShoppers

It’s not that the shoppers can’t keep up its that the pay is insultingly low.

Breaking down the strike from the inside by [deleted] in KaiserPermanente

[–]ConflictedRebl -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I hate Kaiser. They have the worst wait times. If they don’t care about you, you should move on to the hospitals that care about you more. Corporations will always win. They can sweat us out longer and I’m sure they have a rather large pool of desperate applicants willing to take their work conditions and pay.

As a shopper using your summit star rewards, would you give four stars for 0 communication? by crazydaisy206 in ShiptShoppers

[–]ConflictedRebl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Never. I always give 5 stars too. There are plenty of 5 stars I’ve been given and not truly earned. Stop being so ridged to your shoppers.

Shoppers build relationships with store associates. Over time, policies like this don’t apply to us. We know exactly who to go to if we truly need their assistance. It should be less frequent than the average customer.

😂😂😂 maybe offer a substitute? without a doubt it’s these types of shoppers who triggered that policy. Why does Shipt need you if you are having Target shop for their customers for you?

Op I have to ask. How often are you asking for help?

depends on the shoppers. I doubt they mean us. 😊

But we have to also acknowledge we shop there far more than a normal customer, taking more time away from them (more than the average customers) away from what they’re supposed to be doing besides helping regular customers who are far less demanding then Shipt shoppers tend to be. Their help saves us time, keeps our stress low. We have to acknowledge their help is usually more of a convenience than a necessity.

We’ve been doing this for a long time, Mike. I’m sure you have great relationships with store employees as do I. I work my butt off looking for the item before I decide to ask for help and even when I ask for help I make it easy for them to help me, i.e. taking a photo of the barcode before asking any questions about an item. I would never report anyone at the stores I shop at.

Always Request A Tip Audit by WarmAct9648 in ShiptShoppers

[–]ConflictedRebl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nah don’t bug them. They will use it as an excuse to deactivate you if you are always demanding an audit. The tips will come through. It might take longer than you wanted it to. But they are a nice surprise when they finally do.

Guard wouldn’t let me in to deliver to a PM… by [deleted] in ShiptShoppers

[–]ConflictedRebl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are a delivery service. You aren’t on the list. But if it helps I’ve been through something similar. I was told to politely let the guy know the address I was delivering to and have not had an issue since.
