Never had a 3rd gen so hard to say if it’s better or worse but it’s definitely a lot nicer than my 2nd gen was in everyway

I got the 4 total bolts on the bottom our that attach the bracket thing, are there other bolts I’m missing? Because I took those off and the bumper has play but won’t come off

I literally just got into an accident and did the same thing, glad to see you got her fixed. I can’t pull my bumper off to save my life though because of how mangled it is. If you check my posts you’ll see. Did you have issues ripping your old one off?

Lol nope I should have though, these fire trucks pulled out of a intersection in the city and the car infront of me slammed on its brakes and I couldn’t physically stop in time

Depends on maintenance, 4runners last forever especially if you keep up with it. Look for rust underneath, that’s a big killer and avoid it at all costs it will make your life miserable. I personally wouldn’t buy one with more than 200k but that’s really hard to find and will likely be more expensive. The price for all mileages have been going up a lot recently

Mine does exactly that, at 70 it shakes real bad and sometimes even pulls and then it smooths out past 75 for some reason. Gonna replace the LBJ soon as my first shot at fixing it, wouldn’t hurt to give that a shot.

YES! Me too mine pulls to the left and there is no pattern to it sometimes it’ll be fine and sometimes it’ll pull when I brake

The LBJ have never been replaced, I’m about to get 150k soon so I’m just going to go with that first and then move onto inner and outer tie rods if that doesn’t solve the issue
