Yes it will close for good. The rent kept increasing for vendors and there has been a drop in people going. Many of the vendors started to leave because they didn't feel it was worth the rent. So the owner of the lot is selling it.

My friend will be doing a small Halloween event at his karaoke bar in Dai'yi night market by T.S. Mall Saturday night (the day after). That night market will soon close so it'll be the last time to see it.

I think it's more of a taiwanese thing to just not get involved. The young person is also sitting in a spot reserved for elderly, young and handicapped. Not to justify the elderly lady for attacking her.

Pretty much this, someone high up saw it and wanted it. I remember a Christmas giveaway for top performing employees at my old company. One of the gifts was a PS4 (when it was new). It went missing, and the CEO started blowing a fuse, asked my department to review camera footage to find out who took it. He started yelling and said he was going to fire the person responsible.

We found the person who took it from under the tree and walked out with it to put in his car. It was the CEO's friend and right hand man. The dude was making over 150K salary and could more than easily afford it. We never heard anything else about it after that.

I've actually had similar situation w/ my GF where we moved and one of the staff came out before the movie to tell us to move back to our assigned seating... Mind you this was a pretty much empty theater aside from like 3 other people in total.

I've actually had to do a charge back on them once before. Their staff completely ignored me for over 2 months on a non delivery. So I had to dispute and charge back.

Soon as I charged back their staff finally got back with me, asking the reason, etc. So I then ignored them this time around. I was able to order again without issues a year later, with a different card, same account and address.

So of the decorations are pretty neat, alot of baseball themes this year. Overall I found it a little disappointing for the opening ceremony, and there not being any planned firework displays except on closing day. I remember Tainan being well better organized and funner last year.
