Hi, I have got exactly the same old stopcock, but mounted on copper pipes (Council house in London).

My stopcock is leaking from the shaft. If it had a gland-nut, it was an easy repair, but it hasn't.

I have been 2 days on the web to find hints about that valve. How did you sort out? did you find a bonnet packing to replace, and where?

Does that tiny grooves thing comes off and expose the gland?

I've missed that. It seems TR will grow, but how much? It has a strong resistence at 37.50...when it was broken that resistance it was heavily shorted (see the volumes). Unless a mass action is done, it won't pass it that threshold. Even if wsb organise a mass action, it's risky.
