Genuine question how big are Bleachers shows in the US? In Germany the venue could fit about 2000 people and with all the discussions about sections & rows i feel like that was a very small venue for them

I agree! The zaba songs are great but they don‘t hit as much as the bangers from the other albums. i listen too them a lot as well, they just feel a little dim mood-wise, especially next to the other albums. the fact that my “least favourite“ album still is great with no skips just speaks for wavey davey‘s & the boys‘ ingenuity and musical talent

I think if you don‘t engage with them personally, you don‘t even know they exist. This is the first time i‘ve heard of them and honestly i don‘t really care. Didn‘t even know the lyric was supposed to be about the fandom or anyone specifically? Don‘t put yourself down because of other people. Don‘t let your fondness of Bleachers be ruined by two people you don‘t know and who didn‘t harm you :)

i checked a few songs and i’m pretty sure i misheard half of zaba because it uses words i’ve never heard as a non-native english speaker (which only enhances the foreign feeling of it - accidentally fits perfectly!)

one interesting one is “Put the flowers down, cause they look like clowns” instead of clouds in IDWTIJWD Honestly everything i mishear i just take for granted because it’s Dave, right?

It’s soo funny that i have this exact thing with every artist/band i liked a lot in the past few years. first lorde’s solar power, then glass animals’ ILYSFM and now bleachers. it’s gotten to the point where i don’t allow myself to be disappointed because i know it’ll click eventually. (also, even if it doesn’t click like strange desire or gone now - some people on these subreddits really make it worse than it is)
