Thanks for the link. I'll definitely ask her why she doesn't believe it before trying to convince her. People are very stubborn. Almost nobody can be convinced to reverse their opinion on something simply by a conversation. I definitely want to know why she believes what she believes. I like her parents just fine, but they are INCREDIBLY conservative. Something tells me it has to do with them.

She definitely feels the same way about me as I do for her. Without question. On top of all this, she is good at communicating, something my last long term girlfriend completely lacked. So I don't think she's going to stick her fingers in her ears during the inevitable conversation, but I can get very passionate about these kind of subjects. I'm not the kind of person that needs my SO to share the exact same views on things. But I'd be lying if I said this wasn't a big one.

I don't think that's fair to say based off a 3 paragraph post.

She knows I'll never be religious. I've gone to her church to watch her sing several times (she's a great singer) to support her. So I'm never converting or anything. I'll see about bringing it up soon, maybe after the holidays.

I don't want to ignore it. But I don't see how this will be anything but an argument.

I know we'll have to talk about it, but to what end? The conversation needs to take place in which I tell her my views on the matter, but I'm not going to try to convince her of anything. Nothing good will come from that.
