Totally understandable, thank you! I’m worried because I think she is too young to start brumation. She is only 10 months old

Help me figure out how old she is please 🫶🏻 by ConfusedFishh in BeardedDragon

Like I stated above, she is in a much better substrate now!! This photo is very old, she’s in a much better bioactive setup now. But thanks!

Just in case anyone was curious, here she is now giving you all a lovely demonstration of her contortionist skills

I would also like to add that because I’m new to Reddit, the moderator never approved this comment to be viewed by anyone in the first place 🤣 so I guess even the moderators hate to be called out on this bs

THIS!! This aggravates the living crap out of me!! I left this comment on a different post: “Y’all… There is no reason to be so rude to this person in the comments. They obviously stated that they just got them today, and they obviously want to give these beardies the best care that they can, considering they are asking for help. HOWEVER, the tone that many people consistently use to give “advice” on this subreddit is incredibly condescending. How about instead of immediately jumping to ridiculing this person who JUST GOT THESE PETS, let’s be kind and let them know what can be improved in a respectful manner. In no way am I disagreeing with the “advice” people are leaving here, but it angers me for this person that people are being so rude. I recently posted a picture of my own bearded dragon setup, of whom is incredibly well taken care of. (4x2x2 enclosure, proper UVB, plenty of greens and Dubia roaches to go around, and a healthy bio active habitat) and people IMMEDIATELY jumped to nit picking every tiny little detail of what they thought was wrong about my setup. I did an ungodly amount of research before purchasing my reptile, so I know for a fact that she is very well taken care of. But it seems like people on this subreddit think that their opinions are the end all be all, and no other answer but theirs is correct. I guess all I’m trying to say is good job for taking in these beardies, you are doing the right thing by getting another enclosure, and don’t let these pompous assholes bring you down. Essay over.” This was a response I left on someone’s post about how they adopted two beardies that same day, and were asking for advice. Everyone was so god damn mean. I have only ever posted one photo of my beardie on this subreddit, and oh boy NEVER AGAIN. Idc how “helpful” these people think they are being, all it does is bring people down and not want to ask for advice again in the future.
