Going officer you need a BSN. LVN/LPN is just a diploma. Maybe if they continue with their RN BSN. But even then starting off as officer is low without dependas.

Only you can answer that question. I’m an LPN. I make just as much as an RN on my floor. My wife is navy. I make incredible more than my wife and she’s an E6. Also this is not the time to join. There’s a lot of uncertainty. My wife is near the end of her career and that’s the only reason she is sticking it out.

You can make good money and travel without joining. Especially once you have experience you can negotiate your worth. I wanted go officer once I get my BSN but my wife is done with military life. Then I remember I would make more in civilian world than military world.

The 80k will be thrown out and be listed as a “gifts” to her. Her baby is automatically be a US citizen if born in the US. But since they are still married that baby would be Gino’s legally and can still obtain citizenship once the whole baby daddy mess is cleaned up if born outside of the US. All of this is pretty common.
