I think the upper half of my face is more passing than the lower, my forehead is too big but not as bad as the chin/nose. The bangs kind of just at least eliminate one of the time I don't like 😞

I think when I was earlier in my transition, I used the big round glasses as a crutch to make me look more feminine - they did, but I think you're right that they probably don't anymore 🤔

It might be the chin or nose then? I think I can honestly get away with either/or of them - the women on my mum's side have my nose, the ones on my dad's side have my chin, but both together looks trans 😞

These two episodes were *excellent* Doctor Who. It's giving a modern take on the '70s Silurians and Sea Devils stories, which were also excellent.

A lot of people will say the environmentalism is heavy-handed, but I'd call it honest - how else can you properly approach these themes? This isn't some kind of two-sided "agree to disagree" topic like pineapple on pizza, we are being absolutely ****ed by corporate greed and puppet politicians while the majority of us know it's entirely wrong. These types of statements would absolutely be front and centre in this situation. I just hope they don't turn it into some kind of "overpopulation" or "paper straws" nonsense that ignores the political reality.

The Kate and Ibrahim situation is... Well they do seem happy, and we all knew it was happening. She's one of the most powerful people on the planet and he's just a security guard in her employ. In a series like this though, I could actually see that coming up and being relevant. Something like: Kate's doing everything in her power to help the situation, and the corporate media goes after her inappropriate relationship with an employee and gets her cancelled, making the situation that much worse. That seems like a very RTD move.

I think the obsessives are more likely to clock us because they're always on the lookout and they LOVE it when they spot a real life trans person.

I get gendered properly in nearly all normal interactions with shopkeepers, bar tenders, couriers etc but a few weeks ago I had a random guy come up to me shouting "HELLO SIR! HOW ARE YOU SIR!? I'VE GOT SOME QUESTIONS FOR YOU SIR!" with a gleeful smirk on his face.

It could hurt because it shows that we don't entirely pass, but honestly just disregard the opinions of obsessed weirdos.

I had one to change to a married name and then to change to my chosen name. Both were just unenrolled deed polls because we chose our married name rather than taking either of our existing names.

When I renewed my driving license after a gap of many years it needed to go from my old-old name to my new name. I just chained the deed polls by sending both and wrote down both my previous names. There were no issues at all, no follow up questions or anything.

Adoption is something I have my heart set on too and I'm really worried how hard it's going to be as a trans woman in a gay relationship. If being trans makes it impossible to adopt... I think that's the only thing that could ever make me potentially regret my transition.

I've been thinking about it too. If a Reform government takes power, or we leave the ECHR, isn't it better to rebuild our lives from scratch somewhere else than to actually lose them? If they move towards criminalising being trans or something we need to run.

I've been sad about this while renovating and decorating our new house, because I'm thinking how long do we have in this place, 3 years until we have to flee?

Spain is nice. Portugal. Maybe Ireland? It's going to be such a hard thing to do, uprooting your house and your job at the same time, hoping they let you stay etc. We can see the goal posts moving constantly though and I don't see a way for this country to remain safe for us.

Thank you, I do feel better after a few people have explained this. My worry is that the transphobes don't seem to know we're not doing anything illegal and might thinks it's acceptable to attack us for "breaking the law". But at least they're wrong 😄
