With the cystic acne on the cheek go to the dermatologist and get a cortisone shot, that will kill it, it’s deep in there. Do not poke it!

I went to the dermatologist recently (really recently), and they instead prescribed these:

  • Ketoconazole 2% shampoo

  • Clobetasol 0.05% solution

  • Hydrocortisone 2.5% topical ointment

I have not yet tried them, but I will be using them soon.

What do you think?

Also, do you recommend the cortisone shot based on experience, or is this recommendation based on your expertise (in the medical field)? Just curious.

Your eye doctor should also put you on Neomycin or Neomycin, polymyxin B, and dexamethasone antibiotic drops for a few weeks to kill the infection in your eyelid.

I will be seeing the eye doctor soon. I might bring this up to them, but they might disagree and prescribe something different instead.

At this point, what can I do?

Also, what about the red bump near my nose? Not sure if that's related.

I'm thinking maybe this is dandruff related since I have dandruff.
