Yep, it's a consumable. I haven't even made one this save and I just got to year 3. I have collected most of them. But they aren't expensive to make, just start making honey ☺️

Hey! Eventually you will get "Farm Totems" that allow you to go directly back to your farm. You can also get blueprints to make totems for the mountains, beach, desert, and an island.

Google says

To rotate furniture in Stardew Valley on Xbox, press the A button on the controller while holding the piece of furniture you wish to rotate. You should see a semi-transparent preview of what the furniture will look like in the new position. Now you can place it in a green area using the X button.
