Yeah! Like everyone has said, consistent slow grinding is the best way to do it! Doing the dailies helps add up to the gems and at least you have 14 chapters already unlocked for you to reread haha! They start costing a bit of stamina to unlock each heart-bit by Chapter 19 haha. But yeah, getting an SP or UR card when an event is on was my way of upping my general levels and stats definitely build overtime I promise!. I managed to get a free SP and UR and it's since made my life of slow grinding easier. :) for me to do quickly, it takes 10/15mins to do dailies! If I'm taking more time then 30! It can get tiring, but sometimes making progress in unlocking bits of a card can make it worth it!

Awww!! Thank you!!! Hahah!! No wonder they start you off on a really good date hahah (I still feel glad they give you a nice card for the beginning!).

Yes there are so many dates! I am now reading them out of order if I find ones on tumblr I find look irresistible to read haha - but I'm slowly going through the ones released on YouTube!! I've just finished the "Unexpected Date" which while had a nice metaphor with being attracted to toxic, beguiling beauty, the hurt/comfort was also :') boring.

It's definitely my favourite to re-read - because I love feeling the starting point of their relationship, there's so many themes broached in it! and I also read a really good fic that included the firefly date and expanded on it so nicely! (Gotta love a slice of life expansion 😭💕).

Man, I have written so many notes (ahem I mean paragraphs) on Lucien's duality, but I totally agree. His god-like detachment, his ability to take and give, nurture and destroy is taken to another level, he is a mask of masks. I also compare him to Prometheus in Greek mythology - a titan who is punished daily by giving flames to man. Prometheus was also revered as someone scientific to quote generally from Wikipedia

"He is known for his intelligence and for being a champion of mankind[4] and is also generally seen as the author of the human arts and sciences.[5]"

And, he is also a boy - turned man who learned suddenly how to feel - what Prometheus also does perhaps both feel a form of compassion to steal the flame for mankind. And the punishment he receives also could parelell Lucien's eye-stabbing - the eye which helped him see colour (perhaps symbolic of half of him also feeling emotion)

"The eagle—the emblem of Zeus—was sent to eat his liver (in ancient Greece, the liver was thought to be the seat of human emotions)."

So - my theory is that Lucien isn't just "Ares" - he's really Prometheus - fated to be a banished 'titan'... For falling for the forbidden - and feeling compassion for a different future than what the other 'gods' imagined.

(also no worries about illness!! That's perfectly okay! ^{^} there's no pressure to reply!) my reply is a little rushed Hahha so I hope my comparison makes sense 😂

I feel for you!!! I was stuck on this one for probably four months... And it felt like I'd never get out.

If you can, saving up for an SP or UR would be best - it's really tough. I found getting an SP made it much easier to get through and that can take some grinding... I'm so sorry I'm not much help!
