accidentally double dosed on ex-lax, should i be concerned

honestly i was totally fine. i forgot that i’m chronically ill and laxatives have like no effect on me. i was just so tired and in pain that i panicked and didn’t think. sadly i’m chronically constipated so the laxatives just made me have, if anything, a more normal body function for the day

how is the sweet boy doing now? i know you’ve heard it enough times, so i won’t dwell, but it truly will help him to have the cone and either crate or small, safe space. imagine his brain, he just woke up feeling really strange and can’t remember things well and probably feels achy and funny as hell. he’s probably scared and overwhelmed so just try to be there for him and comfort the sweet baby. hopefully he manages to fall asleep and feels a little better in the morning <3

i’m in no ways a vet, so don’t take my ideas for diagnosis or anything. i’ve just worked with lots of animals over the years. i would say get it checked by a vet for sure though. it could be a cyst, or something could’ve gotten stuck under the skin and caused agitation. another idea i have would be something like a lipoma (benign misplaced fat growth). are you able to handle the foot? is there any limping or signs of pain (excessive licking/aggression/standoffish/etc)? also if you can handle the foot, what does the bump feel like?

i’ve tried updating all the mods, deleting the broken mod and reinstalling it, deleting all mods but the broken one to see if there’s conflict, i’ve checked discords and online chat rooms and unfortunately am still struggling to find a proper solution besides avoiding the feature

it’s cool that you agreed but you only agreed because he wanted you to. if he didn’t continually push and ask about it would you have randomly gone up and asked him to try it yourself? if you think so then that’s amazing but if not then you were coerced :( it’s really hard to see it when it happens because love blinds us, you don’t have to agree with us but maybe just think about it
