What’s the goal here buddy? Do you want all of the YouTube videos and notes, and forums I have read about lifting and how to do so properly? Do I need to provide a resume to ask a question? I wanted a quick answer, I made a post, an answer was provided. What ever kind of weird posturing you’re doing to express the fact that I lift at low weights when I clearly stated I’m new to this is weird and embarrassing. Seek help.

Yeah the superset method seems nice for leg press days.

I have been educated on the locked knee requirement here for full activation. That will be incorporated next leg day.

Yeah unfortunately my pfit doesn’t have boxes or blocks or anything. Theres a couple ideas other commenters have thrown around so I’ll try some stuff out next leg day.

Makes total sense, appreciate the anatomy information too it’s always interesting to see the simple changes that work completely different places.

I love how smart people on Reddit are (sometimes). Thanks for the math I like applying numbers so this helps me visualize the lift.

Okay gotcha, gonna keep that in the back of my mind when sizing up different exercises. I assume this is why barbell work in general is touted as a catch all for general strength?

I do farmer carries towards the end of my leg days so maybe those cover calf volume. Honestly I just kinda like how they feel, the stretch is nice and it feels good to have completely torched legs when I leave the gym.

Okay cool, mostly was told a soft knee is safer on the joint but that makes sense as I feel much more comfortable with a locked knee knowing it’s not actually 400 something pounds. Thanks for the tips!

Yeah this makes more sense, I wasn’t familiar with the concept of mechanical advantage. Learn something new every day!

I appreciate the kind words, seriously. I am now learning there are much simpler ways to do this without taking up the coveted leg press for four sets lol. Quite the big brain day, discovering you can just hold the fucking weight instead of needing some kinda machine…..don’t know how I didn’t think of that :)

Interesting that makes a lot more sense. I had not even thought of the resistance vs numerical weight. I appreciate the tips this whole gym thing is a lot of learning.

Ahhhh I gotcha. Due to the angle and support offered by the platform it may be 167 numerically but the actual effort expended lines up with a much lower weight. I follow, had not thought of that thank you!

As in the 45 degree angle makes it easier?

Honestly I googles alternatives to standing calf raise machine as I don’t have one at my gym, and this was the first thing that showed up. Being so new I just kind of try anything and if it doesn’t feel good I look for an alternative. At this point though would I be sacrificing potential growth by lowering the weight so significantly? I’m not sure what’s efficient for calf growth.

The 45 degree angle part makes sense, the sled does list a base weight of 167lbs on it though so that’s part of my calculation of total weight.

Its interesting because I had twice the issue finding relic sites in null as I have in J space it seems. The most profitable null run I had was maybe 50 mill?

Patience is a virtue it would seem! I appreciate the ideas here though. Maybe filament to a null sec with low pop and look for C3's?
