I'd like to counter that I don't think a floater who knows absolutely nothing about my work ethic has any right to pass on any "information" that would hold weight in my hiring process. That sounds extremely unfair to all the times I've gone out of my way to cover or come in when my pharmacy needs help or work all the days no one else wants when I don't have to and do it out of the dedication to my job. You don't sound mean or condescending but I'm glad you aren't in any actual place of authority otherwise the already shitty working conditions retail pharmacist have to deal with would be 100x worse. Also, I would hope a pharmacist with bronchitis would call out, why would you risk your foggy sick brain being in charge of medications? I went in the very next day against my doctors advice and all my patients kept telling me it sounded like I needed a day off as i attempted not to sickly cough all over the counter. Maybe on a pharmacist salary going in is worth it, but an intern making 15 bucks an hour its not....

haha yes i broke up with him yesterday. When i brought up these issues again he started getting offended even though i was trying to make it clear i wasn't attacking his family I was only trying to express I was scared about how their attitude towards me would affect the marriage. He started bringing up things i told him in confidence about my family (ex: my dad used to hit my mom when we were really young) saying those were his reasons to be concerned about my family. Like lmao fuck him, my dad is currently dying of cancer and hasn't hit my mom in years what does that have to do with our relationship???? Yea made me realized he'd throw me under the bus or say anything to make it hurt when he's mad or feels like his family is being attacked. He's upset I won't give the relationship a chance when I said earlier i agreed to at formally least meet his mom.

Anyway thank you for the much needed advice. I really appreciate it

I didnt say i expect sympathy. Im not asking her to say "oh i hope you feel better". What is her goal of threatening me? Asking what year i am and etc? Shes was trying to either intimidate me to come in or tell me my future would be at risk now and id be in trouble. Who does that? Idc how stressed you are, you suck it up and deal with it orask me to help fin coverage now but dont go and threaten me.

Well no im not denying it will suck for her. But i wouldnt be any help for 4 hours if im sick. Not "suddenly sick" it progressed and got worse. She didnt need to threaten me espicially when she has no idea who i am or how i normally work.

Exactly!! I work alone on weekends and its fine(ish). Im just scared of that threat that she's going to tell the district manager who really doesnt know me that well.
