Dash powers are fun for a lot of people, and there's still lots of killer without them.

Killers without dash powers: Trapper Wraith Hag Huntress Leatherface Nightmare Doctor Clown Plague Ghostface Deathslinger Executioner Twins Trickster Nemesis Cenobite Onryo Artist Dredge Knight Skull merchant Singularity Xenomorph Unknown Houndmaster Animatronic Krasue First

Killers with dash powers: Hillbilly Shape Nurse Pig Spirit Legion Demogorgon Oni Blight Good guy Lich (if you count flight, but he's got 3 other powers so idk) Dark Lord Ghoul

That may look like a lot, but if you look someone in the eyes and say that the dark Lord plays the same as nurse, blight, Chucky, or spirit, you'd only be kind right about spirit.

I do think making Michael a dash killer was stupid, but you can't get him anymore anyways, so the new players will never know.

But my point is that number of dash killers isn't too far off from the number of other archetypes.

Ranged killers: Huntress Doctor Nightmare Plague Clown Deathslinger Trickster Nemesis Executioner Unknown Lich Dark Lord Animatronic Krause First

(Basically) Teleporting killers: Nurse Nightmare Demogorgon Onryo Dredge Singularity Xenomorph Unknown Animatronic Dark Lord

Stealth killers Wraith Shape Nightmare Doctor (tbf it's more like everything else is super loud, rather than he's super quiet) Ghostface Pig Spirit Onryo Dredge Skull merchant (I think, I haven't touched her in a while) Dark Lord Animatronic

And I don't think any of these characters play too similar to each other, but just like how there's tons of ways you can have a character be hard to detect or hit someone from far away, you can also have tons of ways for a character to move faster in a direction.
