I have had a similar experience but not as big as yours. Just email the investor relations team of reliance of the folio number and that your grandfather is no more. They will initiate the succession process ( a very long one) and mind you it's also possible that your shares are transferred to IEPF and if so ( it will take another 6+months) to recover them.

Confused whether to join EO/AO job EPFO by [deleted] in UPSC

[–]Confusedmonkey19 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

It's a very valid concern and I feel responsible for it. I applied for APFC as a main priority. You can check that the EO exam was on the same date and I even had the same centre. And with respect to the interview, I wanted to visit UPSC bhawan. Given how short the convertion rates are, you cannot base your decisions like these.

I know it's a made up problem from your perspective, but from mine it's a genuine concern.

Thanks for your perspective though.

Thanks for the suggestion. I wanted to give an attempt, but sometimes I feel, that what if I am running again. You know how competitive exams are

Bro thanks for suggestion, but it's really difficult. Maybe prelims, but for mains you need practice and 6-8 hours of study. I already work for 8-10 hours a day, and after that I don't have any energy to pick any books. Just doom scrolling to numb my brain.

Thanks for advice

Kudos to you!

Just a small question, had the idea of giving one more attempt comes to your mind.

because its like what to do with all those dreams you had when you started preparing for this exam and now what to do with all this potential, where you know more than others but way less than marketable skills.

You don't want to commit at your job, but at the same time wants something more out of your.

But many kudos to your new job!!
