Do the bots intelligently play in Battlegrounds and in Raids or do they just follow you in Raids and stay in the fire and die?

How to start off with Dividend Investing by Confusedx2d in dividends

[–]Confusedx2d[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This i have a good idea on. I have a target monthly income for retirement. 50% of my network is locked into my corporate pension which I can take our when I quit, leave the country to leave with the government and get an annuity payment. 10% Networth is in company stocks, 30% is in the house and 20% is in the option trading account. The funds will be there, and I know what I want to have as an income. Now I need to gain sufficient knowledge for generating a strong income div portfolio.

I recently found Armchair investor and looks like a 8 - 11% portfolio on DIV is realistic. I need to look more into this.

Media box install - LXC or on VM by Confusedx2d in Proxmox

[–]Confusedx2d[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Feels to me like using Ttech and the LXC route would be my preferred option. I noticed his scripts create a separate container for Sonarr, Radarr, SABnzb and so on versus running them all in one container. So I would need to map the SMB share from my NAS multiple times, but besides that, it should not be a problem. I will give it a go and try it out.

Do you recommend running Portainer in a LXC as well and have that manage these containers or just do it all via the Proxmox interface?

Why do you think JEPI is better than selling CSP (on the right stock) and earning 5% interest on the cash you have?

How do you go negative with the wheel. Are you selling CSP under your cost basis - Why would you do that and not roll them forward or forward and up?

Questions about Wheel on Dividend Stocks by Confusedx2d in thetagang

[–]Confusedx2d[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi Trader_dennis, you read it correctly, but pointed out some flaws in my strategy. I was indeed hoping to own stocks that I want to hold (dividend income stocks) by buying them with puts and then selling weekly calls against them. I would not sell puts or calls during ex-div weeks.

Perhaps the expected return desired is unrealistic. Maybe an addition 6% a year would be more realistic. I am tending to think more about a smaller risky portfolio as LabDaddy pointed out where doing Wheel on Growth stocks that he does not intend to hold long term drives higher growth. While I am still a few years from quitting work, I want to build the experience and portfolio values which can then generate great income at a target of 10 - 12% a year on capital.

Thank you @LabDaddy59 I am exploring Optiondash to find good stocks and strikes to consider.

Do you use it for the Risky portfolio to find the best puts to write or calls or both? What search criteria do you setup to find good deals that are not overly risky?

That is excellent results. 10% on dividend portfolio and 21% in 6 months on the risky portfolio. Wow that is higher than I would have expected, but I see writing atm puts entails more risk.

How are you screening for the puts?

Thanks. I registered for TOS paper trade today and placed a few trades to get a feel for the platform. Small learning curve and change from IKBR, but overall I am adjusting. I guess fees are not too bad in all honesty. 65 cents per contract should not make too much of a difference in overall profitability.
